Job Title: Support Worker Colchester

At People Recruit Limited, we are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Colchester. The ideal candidate will have Advanced CPI Training and a passion for delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex needs, mental health conditions, and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Individuals: Provide essential care and support to individuals, assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and social interaction.
  • Ensure Safety and Wellbeing: Apply Advanced CPI techniques to manage challenging behaviors and ensure the safety and wellbeing of individuals.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work effectively with healthcare professionals and follow care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
  • Support Independence: Help individuals maintain independence and dignity in their daily lives.

Essential Requirements:

  • Advanced CPI Training: Only candidates with Advanced CPI Training will be considered.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working as a Support Worker in a healthcare or care setting is required.
  • Strong Knowledge: Strong knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care practices is essential.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality care are required.
