Job Description:

Recurrent Energy is a leading Solar O&M company in the UK, known for its excellent culture and people. We are currently growing our sites across the UK and are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our finance team.

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting operational cost efficiency and financial planning. Your responsibilities will include collecting and recording historical financial data, managing a financial database, and preparing detailed financial reports. You will also be responsible for identifying cost movements and performing ad hoc financial analysis as requested by the Finance Manager or the board.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills to collect, interpret, and utilize historical data for forecasting and decision-making. You should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly in producing balance sheet schedules. Experience in creating, preparing, and presenting detailed financial reports is also essential. Additionally, you should be proficient in financial software, Excel, and reporting tools to efficiently prepare reports, manage databases, and conduct analysis.

Key Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills to collect, interpret, and utilize historical data for forecasting and decision-making
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly in producing balance sheet schedules
  • Experience in creating, preparing, and presenting detailed financial reports
  • Competence in managing and maintaining financial records and databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • High level of precision to ensure financial reports, coding, and balance sheets are accurate and in compliance with company policies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly present financial findings and collaborate with management and other departments
  • Proficiency in financial software, Excel, and reporting tools to efficiently prepare reports, manage databases, and conduct analysis
