About the Opportunity

This PhD project focuses on historical climate change and its relation to small-magnitude volcanic eruptions.

As a researcher, you will have the chance to work with a unique dataset and contribute to the development of climate models.

Your Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and running climate simulations using the UK Earth System Model (UKESM)
  • Analyzing the results to understand the impact of small eruptions on climate change
  • Collaborating with experts from the UK Met Office and other institutions
