Global Climate Partnerships Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Global Climate Partnerships Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to our planet and contribute to the fight against climate change.
The Met Office plays a critical role in understanding and addressing the impacts of climate change. As a Global Climate Partnerships Specialist, you will be working closely with international partners to develop and implement innovative solutions to mitigate climate-related risks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining partnerships with international organizations, governments, and stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver projects
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including research initiatives, policy development, and capacity building programs. Your expertise will be valued and recognized, and you will be given the autonomy to take ownership of your work.
This 12-month Year in Industry placement is an ideal opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, plus benefits.
