Disability Coordinator

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Disability Coordinator to join our team at Capel Manor College. As a Disability Coordinator, you will be responsible for assessing and coordinating support for students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
The successful candidate will have previously worked in an educational setting, supporting young people with learning difficulties and disabilities. They will have knowledge of The SEND Code of Practice and Education and Health Care Plans, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assessing student needs and coordinating support
- Completing initial interviews, high needs funding forms, risk assessments and annual reviews
- Managing the Learning Support Assistant timetable, access arrangements and dyslexia support and intervention
**Salary and Benefits:**
- A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
- A range of benefits, including generous holiday entitlement and pension scheme
