About the Role

Blue Yonder is a leading supply chain software company seeking a highly experienced Strategic Solutions Consultant to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain solutions and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients during the sales process, while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Make recommendations on whether to qualify in or out of an opportunity to the VP/CVP Pre-Sales.
  • Develop a compelling business case for Blue Yonder Solutions by identifying opportunities to take clients' businesses to the next level.
  • Engage with executives and individual contributors at prospect companies to understand industry and company-specific business processes and objectives.
  • Map customer issues to specific solution enablers and develop a solution recommendation to address business issues and meet objectives.
  • Conduct site surveys, interviews, and research to develop a hypothesis on customers' key business issues.
  • Develop a roadmap for deployment of the recommended solution and maintain Blue Yonder Solutions expertise.
  • Possess and maintain competitor strengths/weaknesses and a strong understanding of industry trends and supply chain management trends.
  • Present a clear, concise, and compelling argument to differentiate Blue Yonder offerings with proof points, including software demonstrations.
  • Quantify the business impacts of issues and develop a value proposition for the recommended solution and deployment roadmap.
  • Deep knowledge of all solutions in the domain.
  • Good knowledge of solutions outside the domain.
  • Able to articulate the value of end-to-end solutions.
  • Coaching and training.
  • Influence product development.
  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture.
  • Lead complex sales.
  • Subject Matter Expert support on other sales where not the lead.
  • Help drive opportunities to close (date and value).
  • Fluent in English and one other European Language.
