Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aspire People. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with students aged 5-16 who have a variety of additional needs.
The successful candidate will have a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and experience supporting children with SEN. A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to working with children is essential for this role.
Job Summary:
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of emotional intelligence, patience, and understanding. The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored support to students with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential life skills.
- Work with students who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and provide individualized support to meet their needs.
- Develop strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Prioritize student safety and well-being, maintaining a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and support.
Salary and Benefits:
