Facilities Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Property Management Recruitment. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our property portfolio, including compliance with health and safety requirements and management agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular monthly inspections of properties to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and management agreements.
- Process reactive and routine repairs and requests through our CAFM system, instructing approved contractors and monitoring progress.
- Administer contracts, purchase orders, and health and safety documentation in line with company policy and procedure.
- Keep occupiers informed of reactive and planned maintenance works.
- Attend client meetings, prepare meeting reports, and provide meaningful commentary.
- Prepare service charge budgets and budget packs, considering all works required for the coming year.
- Attend regular supplier meetings to address any issues.
- Ensure 90% document compliance on our health and safety system and complete all risks within the allotted timescale.
Requirements
- IOSH qualification is essential.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in facilities management.
- Experience with health and safety compliance systems is essential.
- Good IT skills, especially in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and administration skills.
- Polite, courteous manner.
- Proactive and presentable.
Package
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, based in our office in a central location.
