About the Job:
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will oversee a team of driver colleagues, guiding them to achieve exceptional service levels and maintain high standards of performance. With your expertise and leadership skills, you will implement effective training programs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure seamless communication between teams. A key aspect of this position is supporting the recruitment process, identifying talented individuals, and helping them settle into their roles. As a valued member of our team, you will also participate in comprehensive induction training, equipping new team members with the essential knowledge and skills required for success.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to driver colleagues, promoting excellence in performance and productivity.
  • Liaise with Depot Management to address any operational issues or concerns.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of team members' performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment Team to find suitable candidates for driver positions.

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
