As a key member of our team, you will oversee the daily operations of our driver management team. With a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers, you will be responsible for guiding a team of colleagues to achieve their regions collective goals and service levels.

Your role as Transportation Operations Supervisor will involve ensuring effective communication between frontline colleagues and depot management. You will implement company strategies and objectives, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.

You will conduct comprehensive induction training for new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles. Your expertise in leading a small team of driver colleagues will be invaluable in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of driver colleagues, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
  • Implement ongoing training initiatives to keep team members updated on new products, customer requirements, best practices, and company policies
  • Conduct comprehensive induction training for new team members
  • Provide feedback on performance, including knowledge, attitude, and skill to individuals and management

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in leading a small team of driver colleagues
  • Excellent Service Delivery and Driving skills
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations and COSHH
  • Full UK manual Driving License for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points
  • The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of an enhanced DBS check
  • Mandatory vaccinations against Hepatitis B, tetanus/polio

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum. A competitive salary that reflects your value to our organisation.
