Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Head of Academy Performance to join our team at Colchester United. As a key member of our Academy staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of our young players.

**Job Description:**

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver provision of psychological support to enhance player performance and development.
  • Complete performance profiling of all Academy players to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with colleagues to design and deliver evidence-based interventions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.

**Person Specification:**

  • Possess a strong understanding of psychology principles and their application in sports settings.
  • Hold a Psychology degree at Masters Level, accredited by the British Psychological Society and/or the British Association of Sports & Exercise Medicine.
  • Proven experience in applying psychology principles in a sports setting.
