About Our Client

Our client, a reputable enterprise located in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, is a successful health institution that prioritizes well-being and community health. They are seeking a dynamic professional to join their finance team and contribute to the organization's values.

Job Responsibilities

Key duties include:

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processes for weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay cycles.
  • Overseeing and assisting in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll forms, records, and documents.
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Preparing records related to payroll, including employee information, time sheets, benefits, salaries, and more.
  • Participating in complex payroll support functions, such as inputting new employees, applications for terminations, contract adjustments, and similar tasks.
  • Performing additional ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • Have extensive experience in payroll management, preferably with 500+ employees on the payroll.
  • Possess experience in payroll within a healthcare or non-profit setting.
  • Have strong attention to detail, with knowledge of relevant awards and employment agreements in the healthcare and non-profit sector.
  • Demonstrate an ability to strive for improvement within the team and drive innovation.
