Supervising Social Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team at By the Bridge with Cambian. As a key member of our East Midlands team, you will play a vital role in supporting our foster parents and children's social workers to achieve the best possible outcomes for our young people.
About the Role:
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for working closely with our foster parents and children's social workers to ensure they have the necessary support and guidance to provide high-quality care to our young people. You will also be involved in the recruitment and assessment of new foster families, as well as providing training and development opportunities to our existing foster carers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and support to foster parents and children's social workers to ensure they are meeting the needs of our young people.
- Work closely with our therapy team to provide reflective supervision and support to our foster parents.
- Collaborate with our Education Advisors (EAGALs) to build upon the therapeutic parenting work being carried out by our foster parents.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our foster care policies and procedures.
- Participate in the recruitment and assessment of new foster families.
- Provide training and development opportunities to our existing foster carers.
Requirements:
- Hold a formal social work qualification.
- Be registered as a social worker with Social Work England.
- Have a valid driving license.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Experience of working in the fostering sector and/or children/young people in social care.
