About the Role:

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic practitioner to join our team as an Intensive Worker. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with children, young people, and families to deliver high-quality interventions and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with families to deliver intensive support and interventions to address complex needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and families to ensure effective engagement and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service plans and strategies to improve outcomes for children and families.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the team's work.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children, young people, and families in a social care or related setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of child development, family dynamics, and the impact of trauma on individuals and families.
  • Ability to work with complex and sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
