Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Holistic Care Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • To deliver high-quality, individualized holistic care and support to children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families, promoting empowerment and partnership.
  • To work collaboratively with the Jessie May care team to plan and deliver end-of-life care to children on the caseload.
  • To provide emotional support and supervision to children, young people, and parent/carers, as well as students and other staff as needed.
Key Requirements
  • RSCN/RN (Child) or equivalent qualification and current NMC registration.
  • Experience in palliative and/or end-of-life care, with a strong understanding of family-centered care and safeguarding principles.
  • Able to advocate and empower vulnerable young children and their families, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a challenging and complex environment, with a car driver's license and computer skills.

The salary for this role is approximately £32,000 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families.
