Nurse Specialist in Community Children's Palliative Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our community children's palliative care team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced children's nurse to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality care to children and their families who require palliative support.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and demonstrate a strong commitment to family-centred care. They will also possess relevant post-registration experience in palliative care, as well as knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing holistic care to children with life-limiting conditions, including symptom management, emotional support, and bereavement care. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, families, and carers to ensure seamless care delivery and promote the best possible quality of life for our patients.
The ideal candidate will be able to advocate for vulnerable children and their families, demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactions. They will also be able to manage their workload effectively, prioritise tasks, and maintain accurate records.
