Job Summary: Paediatric Support and Care Specialist

At Optimam Complex Care Limited, we're committed to delivering exceptional care and support to children with complex needs. We're now seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Support and Care Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with children with autism, providing high-quality support and care to promote independence and self-advocacy. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and support, using a creative and caring approach.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • a Diploma or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • at least 6 months' experience working with children with autism and/or learning disabilities
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • PMVA training
You will also need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which will be covered by Optimam Complex Care Limited.

Key Responsibilities:
  • • Provide high-quality, person-centred support to children with autism, focusing on promoting independence and self-advocacy
  • • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and therapists to deliver holistic care and support
  • • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the evaluation of services
