Hospitality Team Member in Westbury Fields

The Hospitality Assistants work closely with the Head Chef and Chef to provide a food and drink service in a welcoming, clean environment for our residents/customers in our village cafe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creates a welcoming environment for residents and customers in our village restaurants with a focus on customer service and providing a wide variety of food and drinks.
- Builds a rapport with residents and provides a café/barista service in the village restaurants.
- Serves customers using the Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) system.
- Responsible for day-to-day cleanliness, hygiene, and washing up after a food service.
- Safely closes down the kitchen at the end of the day in line with protocols in preparation for the next day and removes waste.

Desirable Qualifications:
- Barista trained.
- Food hygiene qualification level 2.
- Diploma (or NVQ) level 1 Catering/Food Service or equivalent.
- Experience working in a busy café/restaurant environment.
- Experience of working with older people.
- Experience using an EPOS system.
