Unlock a Rewarding Career in Community Therapy

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Technical Instructor to join our Watford Planned Care Therapy Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a community setting, providing therapy and equipment to patients in their own homes. As a Technical Instructor, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with various pathologies, including amputees, neurological rehabilitation, and palliative care.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in therapy rehabilitation, preferably in a hospital, rehab unit, or community setting. You will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be IT literate.

In this role, you will work closely with the Occupational therapy team, travelling to patients' homes across the locality. You will be an autonomous practitioner, managing your caseload and planning your day to see patients. You will also be responsible for recording documentation on electronic records, ordering equipment, and stock monitoring.

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a comprehensive induction into our community service, followed by a local induction to introduce you to the role. We offer flexible working options, a car lease scheme, annual travel card loan, and training opportunities to support your career development.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess effective written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to meet the required IT skills for the post. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.

The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Please refer to our job description and personal specification for further details on the skills, knowledge, and experience required for this role.
