About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join our Inpatient Therapy Service at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will work closely with our qualified Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and deliver complex treatments under the guidance of qualified staff.
  • Support the running of the department, including data collection and equipment ordering.
  • Work independently to make treatment and discharge decisions for a select group of patients.

Requirements

  • Significant experience as a therapy or nursing assistant in the NHS.
  • NHS experience in an Acute environment.
  • Experience of managing and prioritising own caseload.
