We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Substance Misuse Recovery Specialist to join our Psychosocial Services team on a locum basis.

This exciting opportunity involves working within a dynamic environment, supporting patients with substance misuse issues to achieve recovery and positive change.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Delivering high-quality psychosocial interventions and support to individuals with substance misuse challenges.
  2. Collaborating effectively with the Psychosocial Services team to provide tailored recovery plans.
  3. Facilitating group and one-to-one sessions to support patients' recovery journey.
  4. Conducting assessments, care planning, and risk management.
  5. Maintaining accurate and confidential records in line with organizational standards.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Experience: Proven experience working with individuals experiencing substance misuse challenges.
  2. Clearance: Must be prison cleared and able to start immediately.
  3. Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Commitment: A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care and recovery support.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time position, 08:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with a 3-month placement.
