We are seeking an experienced Psychosocial Interventionist to join our team on a locum basis.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of psychosocial interventions and substance misuse recovery strategies, and possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality psychosocial interventions and support to individuals with substance misuse challenges.
  2. Collaborate with the Psychosocial Services team to develop tailored recovery plans.
  3. Facilitate group and one-to-one sessions to support patients' recovery journey.
  4. Conduct assessments, care planning, and risk management.
  5. Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with organizational standards.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience working with individuals experiencing substance misuse challenges.
  2. Prison clearance and ability to start immediately.
  3. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  4. A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care and recovery support.

About the Position

  • This is a full-time position, 08:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with a 3-month placement.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of psychosocial interventions and substance misuse recovery strategies.
