Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will provide essential support to students with Autism in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and SEN Managers to deliver tailored support and supervision to students with Autism, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Develop fundamental skills such as language, reading, writing, spelling, mathematics, concentration, and social skills in students through personalized support and guidance.
  • Aid students in developing basic ICT skills and integrate technology into learning activities to enhance engagement and understanding.
  • Maintain regular communication with class teachers and external professionals to implement intervention and therapy programs, promoting student progress and well-being.
  • Assist students in daily living activities, including personal care, monitoring conditions, and supporting medication and feeding requirements where necessary.
  • Model positive behavior and maintain high expectations for work and conduct, supporting students' emotional and social development in alignment with the school's Behavior policy.
Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
