About the Role

As an Autism Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a student with autism in year 9. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one support to the student, helping them to develop independent thinking and collaborative skills.

You will work closely with the student, establishing consistent support and well-defined boundaries to promote progress. This is a full-time position that requires the appropriate qualifications and training.

Please note that the salary for this role is rate dependent on qualifications and experience. The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the student in developing independent thinking and collaborative skills
  2. Establish consistent support and well-defined boundaries to promote progress
  3. Provide ongoing support to the student
