Educo Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As an SEN Support Specialist for Autism, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to a 6th form student with Autism at a school in Hounslow.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the educational and personal development of a student with Autism. You will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to develop and implement individualised learning and behaviour plans, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Team Teach qualification is essential.
  • Proven experience working with students with Autism, ideally in a 6th form setting.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
