Autism Education Coordinator

We are seeking an Autism Education Coordinator to join our team at Protocol Education Ltd. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our KS3 and KS4 curriculum for students with SEN, developing and delivering structured programs to improve outcomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing executive functioning and organizational programs
- Delivering anxiety/anger management initiatives and therapy strategies reinforcement
- Collaborating with the SENCO, ARC Manager, and Pastoral Manager to enhance the achievement of specific student groups
- Coordinating an additional nurture course for students requiring more support than Level 5 TAs
- Assisting teachers in delivering the KS3 and KS4 in-class curriculum to students with SEN
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of up to 6 students
- Modeling best practices from the EEF guidance 'Making Best Use of Teaching Assistants' for the TA team and teachers
- Providing support to students individually or in small groups
- Assisting with healthcare, first aid, and personal needs as required
- Taking on general responsibilities within the ARC/Learning & Inclusion team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Recent experience working with secondary school students and prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Prior experience working with autistic students exhibiting high levels of anxiety
- Demonstrated energy and enthusiasm
£34,000 - £44,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. All applicants must hold the necessary qualifications and training for this role.
