Job Description:


As a key member of our debt recovery team at Bristow and Sutor Group, you will be responsible for making and receiving telephone calls with customers to arrange payment of outstanding debts.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls in a professional manner, communicating effectively with customers to resolve debt issues.
  • Accurately enter customer payment details into our systems, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve personal and team targets, maintaining a high level of performance and productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with company processes and guidelines regarding debt collection, utilizing this knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.

Requirements:



  • Previous experience working in a call centre or credit control type role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively manage difficult conversations.
  • High level of IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
  • Ability to problem-solve and think critically, utilizing effective questioning techniques to gather necessary information.
