Sales Development Manager

We are a forward-thinking logistics company based in St Albans, seeking an ambitious individual to join our close-knit team as an Internal Sales Executive. This role offers excellent training and development opportunities, allowing you to grow professionally and contribute to the success of our highly successful family business.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £25k, with regular pay reviews and bonus potential. You will also receive 22 days holidays + Bank Holidays, working hours from Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm in an office-based environment.
Job Description
As an Internal Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to proactively build and nurture existing client relationships to maximise their potential. This involves engaging with clients through outbound verbal communication, negotiating with clients and suppliers, submitting quotes, and converting new sales opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for attending and participating in Sales meetings and maintaining strong personal relationships with clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience in customer service or operations, with a proven track record of negotiating with clients and/or suppliers. A friendly telephone manner, energetic personality, strong negotiating skills, and good attention to detail are essential. You will be required to attend meetings via Zoom or face-to-face with key accounts, therefore you must be confident in your communication skills and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
