Service Support Associate

Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory seeks a skilled Funeral Services Assistant to support funeral operations on a part-time basis.
Estimated Annual Salary: $41,600 - $52,000
About the JobThis position requires excellent customer service skills, proficiency in MS Office, and database management. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Preparation and Setup: Deliver and set up various items such as floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, and personal keepsakes for client families.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare documents related to services, cremations, and maintenance as instructed by management.
- Office Support: Answer phones, operate office equipment, and maintain databases to ensure seamless operations.
- Error Running and Errands: Run errands, deliver flowers, pick up supplies, and perform other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
- Ushering and Transportation: Serve as an usher and may be responsible for parking cars or transporting individuals as necessary.
- Driving Funerals: Drive Funeral Home vehicles for services and family pickups.
- Supporting Visitation and Funeral Services: Assist with visitations, memorials, and funeral services, including setup, preparation, and delivery of family items and flowers.
- Client Reception: Greet and receive client families and/or others entering the office for information and assistance.
- Familial Accommodation: Cater to the needs of families during services and/or visitations.
- A valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
- Part-time associates working 20 hours or more per week may be eligible for our 401(k) program.
