Funeral Service Coordinator

We are seeking a part-time Support Services Associate to provide administrative assistance and support funeral operations.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience, proficiency in MS Office suite and databases, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Service Preparation: Delivers and sets up items such as floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos, and personal keepsakes for client families.
- Document Management: Prepares documents related to services, cremations, and maintenance as directed by management.
- Office Duties: Answers phones, operates office equipment, and provides general administrative support.
- Error Running: Runs errands such as delivering flowers, picking up supplies, and documents.
- Ushering and Transportation: Serves as an usher and may park cars or perform transportation requirements.
- Driving Funerals: Drives Funeral Home vehicles for services and picking up families.
- Assisting with Visitation and Funeral Services: Assists with visitations, memorial, and funeral services, including setup, dressing remains, delivering family items, and flowers.
- Receiving Client Families: Greets and receives client families and/or other persons entering the office.
- Accommodating Family Needs: Accommodates the needs of the family during a service and/or visitation.
Requirements: A valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
Benefits: Part-time associates working an average of 20 hours a week may be eligible for a 401(k) plan.
