We are looking for a detail-oriented Funeral Services Assistant to join our team at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory.

Job Description

This part-time role involves providing administrative support to funeral operations, including preparing documents, maintaining accurate records, and performing various office duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for services by delivering and setting up necessary items, including floral arrangements and caskets.
  • Prepare documents related to services, cremations, and maintenance as directed by management.
  • Perform office duties, including answering phones, operating equipment, and running errands.
  • Assist with visitations, memorial services, and funerals by setting up chapels, dressing remains, and delivering family items.
  • Accommodate family needs during services and visitations.
Requirements
  • A valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.

The estimated salary for this position is $20-$25 per hour. Benefits may be available to part-time associates working an average of 20 hours a week.
