Job Title: Medical Secretary

Location: Pinderfields Hospital, Aberford Road, Wakefield, WF1 4DG

Hours: 37.5 Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30am / 9.00am - 5.00pm

Trust Location: Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust

Role type: Temporary for 2 months with possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clearing a backlog of audio typing
  • Using digital dictation to perform typing duties
  • Answering telephone calls and dealing with queries
  • Updating the system with patient information
  • General associated administrative tasks
Requirements:
  • Medical Secretary experience (highly desirable)
  • OR legal secretary experience
  • Audio typing skills
  • Typing from digital dictation
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
