About the Role

The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Doctor in Community Paediatrics to join our team. As a key member of our Community Paediatric team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with complex health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality community and neurodisability clinics
  • Conduct ADHD assessments and social communication assessments
  • Manage administrative duties and provide secretarial support
  • Promote a multi-disciplinary team approach to care within community paediatrics and the wider health/education/social care teams
  • Support the development of colleagues through the CESR programme
  • Contribute to the development of the Community Paediatric Department

We are a busy centre that serves a large and diverse population, and we are looking for a colleague who is passionate about delivering patient-centred care.

Requirements

  • Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council
  • MRCPCH or equivalent
  • Training relevant to any subspecialty interest
  • Leadership and team working skills
