Head of UK Sales

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our UK and Europe sales organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing high-performing teams.
As the Sales Director - UK, you will be responsible for leading our UK & Europe Sales team, which combines deep product and industry knowledge to bring Plaid's innovative technology to a broadening set of businesses. You will work closely with our US-based sales leadership team to identify points of leverage and product gaps, and drive efficiency, purpose, and clarity across the broader UK & Europe organization.

About the Role- Lead a team tasked with closing all inbound deals and generating outbound pipeline, while developing a comprehensive understanding of our customers' needs and pain points.
- Act as a player/coach, leveraging your own sales expertise to motivate, attract, train, and retain talent across your organization.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve sales processes and procedures, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.
- Mentor and coach sales team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years in an Account Executive role, a strong history of quota attainment success, and increasing management experience.
- Prior experience selling SaaS in relevant industries such as Payments, Fintech, Lending, Wealth, Infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform business decisions.
The estimated salary for this role is $140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
