About the Job

We are recruiting for a permanent position as a Senior Housing Advisor within our Housing Advice team at Cambridge City Council. This is a full-time role, requiring 37 hours of work per week, from Monday to Friday.

You will work closely with colleagues to manage a team of Housing Advisors and Homeless Prevention Officers, providing expert advice and support on homelessness legislation, landlord and tenant law, and choice-based lettings schemes. Your extensive experience in housing options settings will enable you to motivate others to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  1. You will be responsible for managing a team of Housing Advisors and Homeless Prevention Officers
  2. You will provide expert advice and support on homelessness legislation, landlord and tenant law, and choice-based lettings schemes
  3. You will have extensive experience in housing options settings
Benefits and Salary

The salary for this role is £40,476 - £45,718 per annum (City Pay Band 6). In addition to your salary, you will receive a range of benefits, including:

The estimated salary for this role, based on the location and industry standards, is approximately £43,000 - £48,000 per annum.
