Housing Advisor Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Housing Advisor to join our busy Housing Advice team at Cambridge City Council. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues to manage a team of Housing Advisors and Homeless Prevention Officers.
With a detailed knowledge of homelessness legislation, landlord and tenant law, and current guidance on choice-based lettings schemes, you will provide expert advice and support to those in need. Your extensive experience in housing options settings will enable you to motivate others to deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of Housing Advisors and Homeless Prevention Officers
- Provide expert advice and support on homelessness legislation, landlord and tenant law, and choice-based lettings schemes
- Motivate others to deliver exceptional customer service
- Enhanced DBS check required
