Job Title: Senior House Parent Leader

The Senior House Parent will assist the Head of Pastoral in providing a safe and caring boarding environment that enriches the lives of our students. This role includes management responsibilities within the boarding house and requires ownership over the ethos and environment where our boarders reside.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head of Pastoral in maintaining a safe and supportive boarding environment.
  • Manage the daily operations of the boarding house, including supervision of staff and maintenance of facilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student well-being and academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual who can provide leadership and support to our students. The ideal candidate will have:

Experience in pastoral care or a related field.Strong leadership and management skills.Ability to work effectively in a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of statutory duty of care obligations for students living in college accommodation.
Salary and Benefits:

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
