About the Role


Ashford Medical Partnership is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of patient care.


Key Responsibilities



  • Assist with new patient health checks and phlebotomy procedures
  • Record ECGs and process laboratory samples
  • Provide chaperoning duties and assist with minor operations
  • Maintain environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions
  • Assist with the assessment and surveillance of patients health and well-being

Person Specification



  • Qualified to at least NVQ level 3
  • Immunisation and Vaccination accredited
  • Phlebotomy Accredited
  • Experience of working with the general public and as an Health Care Assistant
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and computer skills; Microsoft word and email
