About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Assistant to join our team at Ashford Medical Partnership. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with new patient health checks, including taking vital signs and recording medical history
  • Conduct ECG recordings and phlebotomy procedures
  • Perform spirometry tests and assist with vaccine storage and management
  • Provide chaperoning duties and support with laboratory sample processing
  • Maintain surgical equipment and assist with minor operations
  • Assess and monitor patient health and well-being, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

Person Specification

  • Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 in a relevant healthcare discipline
  • Immunisation and Vaccination accredited
  • Phlebotomy accredited
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
