Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Autism Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team in Chorley. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in various educational settings.

Estimated Salary: £14-18 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with ASD in educational settings.
  • Assist teachers in planning and implementing lessons tailored to the needs of students with ASD.
  • Help manage challenging behaviors and develop strategies to promote positive outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with children or young people with SEN, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of different students and schools.
  • A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
