About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Education Support Professional to join our team in Chorley on a casual basis. This role involves working in a supportive and dynamic environment, assisting students in an alternative provision setting.

As an Education Support Professional, you will be instrumental in maintaining a positive and structured learning atmosphere and managing classroom behaviour. You will also provide one-on-one or small-group support to students as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in their learning and development.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing the classroom.
  • Provide individualised support to students.

Requirements:

  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.

The salary for this role is approximately £12,900 per annum, based on a part-time schedule. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.90.
