Education Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Education Support Assistant to join our team at a welcoming primary school in Chorley. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and personal growth of children in Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11).
Responsibilities:- Support class teachers in delivering lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, including English, Maths, Science, and other subjects.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them with their academic work and understanding key concepts.
- Help prepare classroom materials and resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Supervise and support students during playtime, lunchtime, and other school activities.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure the well-being and academic success of all students.
- Experience working with children, ideally within an educational setting.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting children's development.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in education, teaching assistance, or child development are desirable.
This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent in the future. The role is full-time, with hours from 8:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday to Friday.
