Autism Learning Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Worker to join our team as an Autism Learning Specialist. In this role, you will work 1:1 with a child with autism, providing tailored support to help them thrive in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality support to the child, promoting their engagement and progress in lessons.
• Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviours and reduce challenging behaviour.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SEN team to adapt resources and activities for optimal learning.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with children with autism or similar learning difficulties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, parents, and carers.
Salary and Benefits: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a supportive and inclusive working environment, opportunities for professional development, and a competitive benefits package.
