About the role

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team at Waterloo Lodge School, where you will provide mentoring support to pupils with diverse educational needs, fostering their achievement and development.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to create engaging learning opportunities for pupils with complex needs, working in a school that prioritizes a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in decision-making processes.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with our Teachers to support and motivate our most troubled and reluctant learners, helping us achieve our vision to empower vulnerable young people to be happy and successful in life.

With experience in an SEN or mainstream education environment, you will be a forward-thinking, engaging, and resilient individual with an innovative style of mentoring, motivated by supporting families and helping every child reach their full potential.

Waterloo Lodge is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged 11-18, catering to pupils with a wide range of needs in Lancashire, Manchester, and surrounding areas.
