Job Description:
As an Autism Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with autism, helping them develop essential social and life skills. You will work closely with teachers and staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing individualized support plans for students with autism.
- Providing one-on-one and group support to students with autism within the classroom and in small group settings.
- Assisting students with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require a background in support work or youth work and excellent communication skills. You must be able to work effectively in a team and be committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with autism.
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
