Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced doctor to join our team at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Working Age Mental Health Services in Stockport.

You will work closely with a consultant psychiatrist and be part of a dynamic team that provides high-quality care to patients. The successful candidate will also be required to participate in the on-call rota as agreed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent and experienced medical input to the Stockport mental health services.
  • Conduct assessments and manage new referrals, as well as follow-up outpatient appointments and inpatient work.
Person Specification
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification.
  • Section 12 approval or willingness to seek approval.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Psychiatry.
  • Experience relevant to modern community-oriented adult psychiatry.
  • Experience of teaching and training.
