Head of Operations and People in Oxford

The Project PT is a community-driven movement dedicated to promoting health, wellbeing, and positive lifestyle changes. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations and People to join our team in Oxford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations in our gyms, holiday camps, and social impact to ensure the business runs efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and support a team of managers and coaches fostering a work culture that incorporates kindness, inclusivity, community, and impact.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the owners to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's mission and goals.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a consistently high level of customer service and satisfaction addressing client feedback and implementing improvements as needed.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and financial performance providing regular reports to the owners.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies implementing best practices across all areas of the business.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and clients.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage special projects, initiatives, and events that support the company's growth and community engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in an operational management role.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically with initiative and make sound decisions.
  • Customer Focus: Dedication to providing excellent customer service and enhancing the client experience.
  • Passion for Health and Fitness: A genuine interest in health, fitness, and wellbeing aligning with The Project PT's mission and core values.
  • Flexibility: This role can require shift work and studio cover and getting stuck in where required.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary between £40,000 and £60,000 per annum.
  • 20% Bonus based on EBITDA.
