About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Behaviour Support Professional to join our team at a wonderful Primary school based in Streatham, London. As a Behaviour Support Professional, you will work closely with teachers to ensure effective behaviour management and provide additional support to pupils who require it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement behaviour management strategies
  • Work one-to-one with identified children to deliver bespoke support and improve behaviour
  • Set learning targets and track progress of students, including those with Special Educational Needs
  • Provide valuable feedback and advice to pupils, serving as a role model and reporting back to parents/carers

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and resilience skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues
  • Resilient, empathetic, and able to remain positive in challenging situations
  • Prior experience working as a Behaviour Support Professional or SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Relevant qualifications in Education Studies or related fields desirable

Working Conditions:

This is a long-term to permanent position, offering a competitive salary of £95-£105 per annum. The ideal candidate will be committed, hard-working, and passionate about improving the lives of younger children.
