Job Title: Behaviour Mentor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join our team at Long Term Futures Ltd. The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or SEN Teaching Assistant.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and resilience skills, be able to build strong relationships with students and colleagues, and remain positive in challenging situations. Relevant qualifications in Education Studies or related fields are desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • To collaborate with teachers ensuring effective behaviour.
  • Working 1:1 with identified children to deliver bespoke additional support to pupils.
  • To set learning targets to improve behaviour and track progress of students including those with Special Educational Needs.
  • To challenge and motivate students to promote self-esteem and improve overall behaviour.
  • Provide valuable feedback and advice to pupils, serve as a role model, and report back to parents/carers.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and resilience skills
  • Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with the students and fellow colleagues.
  • Resilient, emphatic and able to remain positive in difficult situations.

Location: London SW16

Salary: £95-£105 per annum (dependent on experience)
