Risk and Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:
Hampshire County Council is seeking a skilled professional to join its in-house team of construction professionals and specialist support staff. The successful candidate will assist in delivering a strategy to manage risks relating to buildings under the responsibility of property services.
The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial building maintenance with a strong understanding of statutory and non-statutory compliance. They will be responsible for ensuring that contractors deliver high-quality work that meets safety, statutory, and compliance obligations.
The role involves working collaboratively to build a culture of strong risk management and compliance. The successful candidate will be expected to support and advise on compliance matters, ensuring that Hampshire County Council's properties are safe and functional.
